Where Conviction
Meets Discipline

The Trading Commodity Challenge — Global Commodity Trading Excellence Challenge.

A multi-round systematic and discretionary trading competition spanning energy, metals, agriculture, and environmental commodities — judged by an independent panel of front-office, risk, and research experts.

We will only email you about the Trading Commodity Challenge launch. No third parties.
About the Challenge

The Review Process

Four stages to seat an independent panel.

Reviewer selection is designed for expertise, independence, and consistency — engineered to protect the integrity of every score awarded.

  1. Stage 01

    Expression of Interest

Minimum seven years front-office, risk, or research experience. Candidates submit a 150-word statement on what makes a defensible trade thesis.

  2. Stage 02

    Credential & Conflict Review

No reviewer scores a team from their own institution or any entity they advise. All employers and advisory roles are disclosed.

  3. Stage 03

    Expertise Matching

Panels are matched to asset-class depth. Every submission is scored by at least three independent reviewers.

  4. Stage 04

    Calibration & Onboarding

    A one-hour workshop scoring a gold-standard anonymized sample to establish inter-rater consistency.

Scoring Rubric

One hundred points. Five weighted lenses.

Every submission is scored against the same rubric. Weightings reflect what institutional desks actually reward: repeatable process over fortunate outcomes.
